Process for Defining Material Issues

Step 1: Identify Societal Issues

Create a list of societal issues that correspond to 34 themes focused on the economy, environment, and society from among the topics of the GRI Standards*, and score them based on their importance for achieving sustainable corporate growth.

* International guidelines for sustainability reporting. Serving as a reference framework when reporting on the impact of a company or other organization on the economy, environment, or society, they are made with global issues in mind.

Step 2: Identify Company Issues

Based on the belief that the vision and major issues defined in the long-term vision "RAIZNEXT Group V-2032" are aimed at contributing to society and all stakeholders as well as the company's sustainable growth, these major issues have been identified as important issues for the company.

Step 3: Develop Material Issue Proposals

Refer to issues identified in steps 1 and 2, evaluate their importance for the Company, and develop material issue proposals.

Step 4: Finalize Material Issues

Discuss material issue proposals developed in steps 1 through 3 at Management Officer Committee and report the results to the Board of Directors.
